The second generation of Chevrolet’s C/K truck entered into production for model year 1967 and continued through model year 1972.  Today’s Truck Tuesday feature is this one-owner, non-molested original 1970 Chevy C10 short bed step side pickup, where the only noticeable change from prior years was a minor grille facelift.

The seller claims this truck to be a barn find that has the original title, owners manual, and Protect-O-Plates shown below.

The seller states the green vinyl interior is original and complete, however the AM radio currently does not work and the blanket on the bench seat likely hides tears in the seat cushion.  The seller also states the windows, wipers, heater, lights, turn signals and horn all work.

This low option work truck features the original 307 cu in small-block V8 mated to the standard three-on-tree shifted manual transmission.  While the manual steering will give your arms a workout, this example features power brakes. The engine appears to be equipped with aftermarket headers connected to a custom dual exhaust. The rear suspension features the more comfortable coil spring and trailing arm design in the optional heavy duty configuration.

The seller claims he recently went through all the mechanicals which included a full tune-up, rebuilt carb, all new belts & hoses, new brake hoses & wheel cylinders, all new exhaust, all new poly urethane mounts and bushings, all fluids flushed including the gas tank, and all new shocks.

This truck makes an excellent candidate for anything from restoring to restomod.
