This very cool 40K mile restored 1976 Cadillac Caribou custom pickup.

According to the seller, coach builder Caribou converted this vehicle when new in 1976.  Caribou converted these cars specifically for the horse ranch owner, as they were intended as an upscale way to haul hay into the fields to feed their horses.

The seller provides a detailed description below:

“Our car is a 100% original, matching numbers car.  From the front bumper to rear bumper the car is 100% Cadillac, the only difference is from the top of the front windshield to the rear trunk is now a fiberglass insert that was installed.  This car has been well cared for and kept in excellent condition.  The car has been totally restored, all original parts have been rebuilt, not replaced, thus matching numbers.  All components of the car work, cruise control, the clock has been updated, a/c components are all new, the interior is perfect, exterior is perfect.  The wire hubcaps are original Cadillac but not for the year, the hubcaps are from a 1977 Cadillac.  The radio/8 Track Player works perfectly and has been totally restored, as has the electric antenna.  New tires.  The car is driven approximately 100 miles a year and is stored in a heated car storage warehouse in Portland, Oregon.

All components of the car are 100% Delco, shocks, plugs, wires, air filter, oil filter, battery, etc.  This might be the finest example of a car of this make and vintage.  We have owned the car for at least 38 years.  Never been in an accident.  The car has a catalytic converter and takes unleaded gas.
