The last American Convertible – the 1976 Cadillac Eldorado.  We found this Red over Red leather 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible here on Craigslist in Mount Airy, Maryland where the private seller currently has his car listed at $9,500, which is two thousand less than the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool’s #4 Condition estimate of $11,500.

The private seller states, “this is an older restoration that has been sitting for four and-a-half years that needs a little TLC.”  While he reports his Eldorado runs and drives fine, he also states the transmission has a small leak  (we hope that its not the rear main seal – that’s no small job!) so you’ll need to inspect that closely prior to purchase.  The only thing that potentially disappoints us with this car is the interior;  while it appears in excellent shape, we think the original leather was like replaced with cheaper vinyl.

These are incredibly comfortable land yachts that you can enjoy driving around in with the rest of your hockey team line and their equipment comfortably, provided its not immediately after a game.  Good luck with the purchase!
