The Guys With Rides Team will be on hand to watch this one-family-owned 1986 Chevrolet K10 Short Bed Pickup cross the auction block. What makes this truck interesting is while Barrett-Jackson honestly reports prior damage and mileage inconsistency based on the CarFax, we’re pretty you won’t hear those details during the TV coverage will selectively forget to mention those details as it crosses the block. Our in-person inspection of this truck confirmed that many panels and repainted by what appears to be an amateur restoration. The Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool lists the #3 “Good” value at $10,400, when this truck crossed the auction block and the hammer fell at $10,00o we felt the buyer paid a condition-appropriate price, ignoring the $1,000 premium charged by Barrett-Jackson as a condition of the sale.
Here’s the video we took of our three #fourbyfriday feature vehicles that we inspected in the Mohegan Sun parking garage prior to the start of Barrett-Jackson’s Northeast 2019 auction on Thursday, June 27, 2019:
From the Barrett-Jackson Docket:

It’s powered by the stock 305ci V8 engine with redone heads and some added chrome, backed by an automatic transmission, and sports dual exhaust. All of the pollution control parts have been removed and the fuel tanks have been replaced. The frame is in good condition and the truck wears extensive new sheet metal. Inside, it features an aftermarket radio that streams through Bluetooth.
