We noticed this red over black 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS was just posted here on Craigslist in Freehold, New Jersey where the seller is asking $22,900.  Unfortunately, the private seller of this “Red Hot Camaro” as he calls it only provides a one sentence description of his car, “Beautiful Camaro! Fresh engine rebuild, new interior, new disc brakes, new tires, new gas tank, new carburetor, new suspension.”

With nothing more than this to go on, we’re assuming this is a real deal SS 350, however you need to confirm that with the seller and check the VIN along with any other supporting documentation. Using the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool as a guide, the seller currently has his Camaro priced about halfway between the #2 “Excellent value of $25,900 and the #3 “Good level of $20,700.

While power of the second generation Camaros decreased for 1972, the cars still look the part and with all of the fresh parts listed on this car, as long as the underbody checks out okay, you can have a fun pony car for less money than earlier examples.  Good luck with the purchase!
