November 2020 Update – We’re busy updating our database to accurately reflect the status of every car we’ve featured since starting  This Fiat Spider we first featured in July 2019 has since sold. This one may have got away, but if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330.

We came across this mildly customized 1980 Fiat Spider listed on Craigslist in July 2019 in Horsham, Pennsylvania where the owner of the past twenty years currently is asking $8,800 for it.  Based on the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool, the seller currently has is Spider priced halfway between the #4 “Fair” level of $5,600 and the #3 “Good” value of $12,400.

We love the color and tasteful removal of the bumpers on this example as well as the addition of period-correct Mini-lite wheels.  These Fiat Spiders are an often overlooked yet economical alternative to Alfa Romeos when buying an entry-level Italian classic.  Good luck with the purchase!
