You can often find great deals on classic land yachts just by driving around running errands.  This yellow over black(?) 1965 Cadillac DeVille Convertible is a prime example.  You can find this car for sale just outside of Newtown, Pennsylvania on Route 332. The seller doesn’t offer any details or price about his car, but we do know from the tail light design and side trim that his car is a DeVille.  The Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool for these Caddys currently lists the #4 “Fair” value for a daily driver quality car at $15,600., so as long as this car runs and drives that should be your benchmark for negotiation.  As another reference, DeVilles of this vintage came equipped with Cadillac’s 429 cubic inch V8 that produced 340 horsepower when new.  From the limited pictures provided, this Caddy is missing its driver’s side rearview mirror and it appears there may be light surface rust peeking out from the fender skirt.  We’re told the car could use a good detail, so we’re not sure whether the paint is faded or thats the shade of the car.  On the plus side, the convertible top and rear window appear to be in excellent condition.
