October 30th Update: When we first featured this Silver over Gray Leather Mercedes W124 Estate, we did not think it would last this long, but here we are facing the start of November and we noticed the original owner posted a fresh ad and lowered his asking price $1,000 to $6,900. It appears to be a lot of Mercedes here for not a lot of money. If you are serious about buying this Mercedes you can contact the seller directly by phone at (646) 508-6043. Good luck with the purchase!
When we came across this 1995 Mercedes-Benz W124 E320 Wagon here on Craigslist in Deal, New Jersey we were concerned it was the same car we featured from Mecum Harrisburg last month, however we were relieved it turned out to be a coincidence. The original owner dropped their original asking price from $7,900 to $6,900 for his E320 which, based on the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool, is now $500 below the #3 “Good” condition level of $7,400.
With the original owner only driving their Merc 129K miles since new and a folder full of dealer receipts, this car appears to be a very well maintained example. The owner either knows a very good detailer or has kept their E320 in immaculate condition themselves over the past 24 years as the exterior and interior appear to be like new based on the pictures provided.
While the seller reports his W124’s 3.2L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and the air conditioning blows cold, he notes the only thing not in working condition are the stereo speakers currently.
If an in-person inspection confirms the condition presented in the pictures, you would be hard pressed to find a better example of the last model year of Mercedes’ highly regarded W124 Estate. Good luck with the purchase!
