Check out this Pinecrest Green and White Two-Tone Driver Quality 1956 Chevrolet 210 Four Door Station Wagon we came across here on Craigslist in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania where the current caretaker is currently asking $13,900 for. Using the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool as a guide, the private seller currently has their Chevy 210 priced $1,000 less than the #3 “Good” estimate of $15,000.

Produced for three model years from 1955 to 1957, the “Shoe Box” or “Tri-Five” full size Chevrolets are iconic examples from the 1950s regardless of trim level.  The 1956 models tend to sit in the shadow of their ’57 stablemates, but these examples have just as many cool styling details.

The private seller states the 283 cubic inch V8 features a four barrel intake and dual exhaust and sends its power through a column-shifted two-speed PowerGlide automatic transmission.  We also not the addition of a custom aluminum radiator that likely does a much better job of keeping the engine cool over the stock unit.  The seller reports the powertrain has 65K miles on it.  Based on the pictures provided, the two-tone paint looks great, so we suspect this car likely benefitted from a repaint at some point.  The two tone interior is in need of attention.

We love the private seller’s assessment that his wagon is a “really nice cruiser for someone that can’t afford a restored one.”  This is a perfect Tri-Five Chevy you can enjoy cruising in while you make upgrades as your time and budget permit.  Good luck with the purchase!
