We’ve been watching this family-owned for 21 years 1969 C3 Corvette Convertible listed on Craigslist in Clinton, New Jersey where the private seller currently has is listed for $21,500. Using the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool as a guide shows the current caretaker has their Corvette priced between the #3 “Good” level of $24,300 and the #4 “Fair” (Daily Driver estimate of $14,300.

1969 was the second model year for Chevrolet’s C3 Corvette. That year, the base engine’s displacement increased from 327 cubic inches to 350 cubic inches while all other engines and transmission choices remained unchanged. All Corvettes now featured 8-inch-wide steel wheels. One-word “Stingray” script nameplates now appeared on front fenders that would last through 1976.  On the inside, revised door panels provided additional shoulder room in the C3’s tighter cabin, headrests became standard, and steering wheel diameter was reduced from 16 to 15 inches to permit easier entry and exit.

The current caretaker honestly presents their Corvette as a “clean driver” that is “not all original.” From the pictures provided, you won’t be embarrassed driving this Corvette in a classic color combination to any chow of your choice.  Between the four-speed manual transmission and the lack of both power steering and power brakes, your arms and legs will get a great workout every time you drive this C3.  Good luck with the purchase!
