Still available here on Craigslist in Fayetteville, New York is this driver quality, two owner, blue over blue, 129k original mile, 1985 Buick LeSabre Estate Wagon the caretaker of the past 15 years is currently asking $2,500 for.  The NADA Classic, Collectible, Exotic, and Muscle Car Appraisal Guide currently lists its “Low”, “Average”, and “High” value range for these wagons as $2,800, $4,125, and $4,725, respectively so the current caretaker has their Estate realistically priced.  If you are serious about purchasing this LeSabre, you can start the conversation with seller by e-mailing him here.

Buick launched its version of GM’s downsized and squared-off B-Body station wagon in 1977 in two versions: the mid-level LeSabre Estate featured here and the more luxurious Electra Estate.  Buick continued to offer this body style in various trim and powertrain configurations through 1990.

The current caretaker of this LeSabre wagon reports that while his car “runs and drives great” beyond the expected sagging mouse fur headliner and bumper filler repairs for this vintage Buick, the air conditioning, power seat, and middle bench seat need attention.

With what appears to be a very solid exterior, presentable interior and the fact it has a 5.0 liter V8 from the factory, we have visions of someone performing a nice LS Swap and other than replacing the aforementioned bumper fillers, leaving the exterior as is for a very nice “sleeper.”  What ever direction you decide to follow with this LeSabre, good luck with the purchase!
