In Allentown, the private seller Dan had a friend post his what appears to be nicely restored 1972 Chevrolet K10 Stepside that caught our attention earlier this week here on Craigslist in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dan currently has his truck priced at $19,000, which may at first blush may seem high, however based on the current Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool is actually less than halfway between the #2 “Excellent” value of $28,800 and the #3 “Good” estimate of $16,600.  To stay these  “Action Line” K10s are hot right now is an understatement.  If you are serious about purchasing this K10 you call the current owner Dan directly at Call Dan 610-704-0113 to start the conversation.

The K10 featured here is from the last year of Chevrolet’s “Action Line” of trucks the division produced from from 1967 through model year 1972.  Nicknamed “The Action Line”, General Motors recognized a growing number of consumers were buying pickups for non-commercial use, so GM began to add comfort and convenience items consumers preferred over the basic features commercial buyers were used to. For 1972, the only changes over the prior year were a glued-to-the-windshield rear-view mirror and door panels on all trim levels were now molded vinyl.

Dan reports his K10 is completely redone.  He uses the term “all GM Steel”, so that’s a clue panels and body sections have been rust repaired, so ask him to point these out during your in-person inspection.  Powering this K10 is a new 350 cubic inch V8 crate motor.  We love the custom color combination and the tastefully redone interior.  This K10 is almost too nice to get dirty taking it on serious off-road trails however its smaller size make it a stylish alternative to go soft roading versus the sea of Wranglers you’ll run into.  Good luck with the purchase!
