December 1st Update – We just confirmed the Craigslist ad for this ride expired and with no replacement listing found, we’re assuming this car sold. Originally posted November 2019 on Craigslist in Chatsworth, New Jersey is this traditional Hot Rod the current caretaker (and we assume builder )states is period correct. We love this Hot Rod as it really speaks back to the early days of what a modded Model A probably looked like. We could be wrong, but we’re willing to bet you can confirm with the seller Albert this Hot Rod is eligible to compete The Race of Gentlemen (“TROG”) held annually on the beaches of Wildwood, New Jersey.
Here’s Albert’s description of this Hot Rod:
“Traditional Hot Rod, period correct build, 255 Mercury flathead, rebulit, Millworks headers, aluminum radiator, 39 transmission, rebuilt, 40 Ford juice brakes, 39 pedals, 33 wishone, F-1 style crossmember, 50 Ford wheel, 48 Ford truck steering box, 32 Ford dash, runs and drives nicely, good road speed.”
We’d love to hear what you would plan to do with this Hot Rod. Comment below and let us know!
