Anti-SUV: 2003 BMW E46 325XIT Estate – SOLD!
February 6, 2020 Update – we confirmed the seller of this “Classifind” deleted their listing, so we’re now able to call this one “SOLD!” While this one got away, please reach out either by email or call Rudy directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.
When you want a great handling car with all-wheel-drive capability but don’t like SUVs and wouldn’t be caught dead in a Subaru, you find a nice three-series BMW estate like the 2003 325iX example we found listed back in November 2019 on Craigslist in Princeton, New Jersey the private seller is currently asking $5,000 for. The NADA Guides Online Classic Car Valuation Tool currently lists their “Low”, “Average”, and “High” retail value range for this vintage E46 at $2,300, $2,925, and $4,675, respectively so hopefully you can negotiate the final sale price down a bit with the seller.
While you’ll need to confirm with the seller, both the license plate and the phone number provided give a hint this car spent much of its life in the Seattle area, which would explain why the body appears straight and rust-free. We love these E46 wagons with all-wheel-drive as they are a great alternative to an SUV. Good luck with the purchase!
