We never cease to be amazed at the low-mileage, Lincoln time capsules that we come across almost weekly.  This example first appeared in January 2020 on Craigslist in West Cornwall, Connecticut is this 43,406 original mile Lincoln Continental Town Car the private seller asked $7,000 for, which relying on the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool as a guide shows the current caretaker has his car smartly priced between the #2 “Excellent” appraisal of $12,500 and the #3 “Good” estimate of $5,800.  While the private seller is firm on his price, based on the pictures and documentation provided we don’t see any reason to haggle on this example.

If you’re looking for a well-optioned, luxurious land yacht to participate in the Antique Automobile Club of America (“AACA”) events, this Town Car is a prime candidate to try your hand at winning your first AACA Junior Award in the Historical Preservation of Original Features (“HPOF”) class.  Good luck with the purchase!

Here’s the seller’s description:

“Extremely clean throughout even has the original floor mats. Literally smells like new inside. Only 43K original miles. Service during the past year includes tune-up, rebuilt carburetor and new tires. Ready to drive or show. 460 V-8. Climate control works and a/c blows cold. Original build sheet, owner’s data plate, owner’s manual, and Ford Marti production report included. Have clean Connecticut title.  This is a 44-year old vehicle and is sold as-is.  Selling to make room for a new car.
