Glamour Grab: 1972 Chevrolet C10 Custom Deluxe Long Bed – Sold!
Prices of classic trucks continue to rise, particularly Chevrolet’s “Glamour” Trucks built between 1967 and 1972 such as this 1972 C10 long bed Fleetside posted on Craigslist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where the current caretaker has his truck nicely priced at $11,500 or best offer. The Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms this truck is priced only $1,000 more than the #4 “Fair” (Daily Driver) estimate of $10,500. Unless the truck looks much worse in person, this well-optioned truck will likely be picked up (pun intended) quickly.
Not only do we like the creamsicle color combination of this example, the big block powertrain, factory air conditioning, and lower bed toolbox are very desirable options. The best part is the vintage 8-track with a David Allen Coe brick! As long as your in-person inspection confirms this truck is in solid condition, you’ll have a great example that at a minimum will hold its value. Good luck with the purchase!
