Why Are People Photographing Their Cars At Filling Stations?

If you spend anywhere near the time perusing Craigslist for “Classifinds” you may be noticing how many people are starting to photograph their vehicle while filling up the car’s gas tank.  We’re fascinated to know why people would think this is an attractive background for their car?  While we could understand someone wanting to sell a car might leverage the brightly lit canopies as a way to photograph their car at night or in bad weather, we’re at a loss for the people who do this during the middle of the day.  If you have some insight of why people do this, please enlighten up by commenting below!
