We’re huge fans of any Ferrari we come across that’s not the typical Rosso Corso such as this Azzurro Hyperion Blue 1985 F355 Six-Speed listed on Craigslist in Jackson, New Jersey where the original owner is willing to accept the best offer over $75,000 for his 14K original mile example. Researching the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms the original owner reserve price falls between the #3 “Good” estimate of $63,100 and the #2 “Excellent” appraisal of $88,600.
Ferrari produced the mid-engined F355 from May 1994 through 1999. This model was a heavily revised update of the 348. For the first time on a Ferrari automobile, the F355’s semi-automatic soft-top was powered electronically. Initially, the Spider was offered only with the six-speed manual transmission such as the example presented here.
In addition to its unique color, we love the fact this example is one of the six-speed manual versions with the beautiful gated shifter. Another bonus is the seller indicating their F355 just received a fresh service at a Ferrari dealership. In addition to the documentation the original owner can provide, as with any high-end exotic car, we recommend obtaining a pre-purchase inspection prior to starting to make an offer. If everything checks out, you have a great modern-day Ferrari that is not only RADwood eligible but will at worst case maintain its existing value. Good luck with the purchase!
Here’s the seller’s description:
“1995 Grigio Ferrari F355 Spyder in excellent condition. Low mileage and recently serviced at official Ferrari dealership. V8, 6 speed manual transmission. 0-60 in 4.7 seconds. Top speed over 183 MPH. Make best offer over $75,000.“
