High Coal Roller: 1995 Ford F-350 7.3L Powerstroke 4×4 – Sold!

Apr 2020 | Classifinds, Truckin Tuesday

Update: This one got away, but if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330

We’re suckers for a great “hero shot” and the lead picture on Craigslist of this very clean white over tan 1995 Ford F350 4×4 set on a dirt road in April 2020 in Belle Mead, New Jersey with an asking price of $14,000 have us featuring it on Truckin ‘Tuesday.   Unfortunately, the asking price of this very clean truck is well outside the current NADA Guides Classic Car Online Valuation Tool’s “Low”, “Average”, and “High” retail value range of $3,200, $5,200, and $7,825, respectively so you’ll have to interview the seller for their rationale and reference for that current asking price.

Ford produced the ninth generation F-Series from 1991 through 1997 even though the basic design dates back to 1980.  This is the last generation of the F-Series that was produced as a complete range of trucks from a half-ton pickup to a medium-duty Class 6 truck. As this generation was replaced during the 1997–1998 model years, the larger models of the F-Series (F-250 and above) were split from the F-150; these became the Ford Super Duty trucks, related to the latter with a few powertrain components.  The one-ton 4×4 version featured here uses a Dana 60 Straight Axle front and a Sterling 10.25″ rear Straight axle.  The engine of this truck is its most significant feature as it was the first year Ford offered the new Direct Injected 7.3L Power Stroke V8 Turbodiesel built by International Harvester, known as the T444 E Engine.  All of these components add up to a very stout off-roader for all but the tightest trails.  While the seller doesn’t distinctly call it out, the chrome bumpers and nice tan cloth seats have us thinking this is a top-trim XLT model.  All told, there is a lot of truck offered here in an arguably better looking, single cab 4×4 version you simply cannot find in a modern truck anymore. Good luck with the purchase!

Hi, unfortunately, we first featured that truck in April 2020 and it has since sold. We apologize for not having the listing updated sooner; we’re working hard to update all of our old posts to minimize any future confusion.
