Reserved Parking 24: 1965 Buick Riviera – Best Offer Over $30,000

May 2020 | Cars For Sale, Reserved Parking, Reserved Parking

History proves many great car designs lose a bit of the initial impact as designers try to update the original car. A notable exception is the ’65 Buick Riviera: when Bill Mitchell’s designers figured out how to hide the quad headlights in the pontoon fenders, the updated Riviera’s front end virtually replicated the 1963 Buick Silver Arrow Concept Car from which it was based. is pleased to exclusively offer this stunning Verde Green Metallic over Green Vinyl 1965 Buick Riviera for the best offer over $30,000.

Having won numerous awards since its restoration, including a Best In Class win at the Buick Riviera Owner’s Association meet in Gettysburg last June, we rate this Riviera a #2 “Excellent” condition car, and a check of the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool shows their current #2 “Excellent” estimate at $30,200, which is right in line with the private seller’s asking price.  Currently available in Burlington County New Jersey, if you are serious about purchasing this beautiful Riviera, you can start the conversation by calling John at (609) 634-8750.  John has owned this Riviera for the past ten years and can answer any questions you may have.

Painted several years ago, the Verde Green metallic hue presents Excellent overall, especially in direct sunlight.  The only notable blemish are several benign bubbles located near the center of the hood.  All of the exterior chrome and trim are in excellent condition and the clamshell style headlight covers function properly.

Buick’s 401 cubic inch “Nail Head” V8 is present in all its nicely detailed glory.  Standard Buick practice at the time was to list the engine’s torque number on the air cleaner label.

The matching green vinyl interior is all original including the carpets and the condition overall is excellent considering its now 55 years old.

All of the trunk carpeting and factory supplied floor mats are in place along with the spare tire and jack components.

The standard full-size chrome wheels are actually a slightly larger size than the originals to accommodate the use of modern radial tires.

If you are in the market for an excellent condition 1965 Buick Riviera in a unique color, this example will not disappoint. Thank you for looking and good luck with the purchase!
