Space 24: 1965 Buick Riviera – Seller Keeping!
Having won numerous awards since its restoration, including a Best In Class win at the Buick Riviera Owner’s Association meet in Gettysburg last June, we rate this Riviera a #2 “Excellent” condition car, and a check of the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool shows their current #2 “Excellent” estimate at $30,200, which is right in line with the private seller’s asking price.
Painted several years ago, the Verde Green metallic hue presents Excellent overall, especially in direct sunlight. The only notable blemish are several benign bubbles located near the center of the hood. All of the exterior chrome and trim are in excellent condition and the clamshell style headlight covers function properly.
Buick’s 401 cubic inch “Nail Head” V8 is present in all its nicely detailed glory. Standard Buick practice at the time was to list the engine’s torque number on the air cleaner label.
The matching green vinyl interior is all original including the carpets and the condition overall is excellent considering its now 55 years old.
All of the trunk carpeting and factory supplied floor mats are in place along with the spare tire and jack components.
The standard full-size chrome wheels are actually a slightly larger size than the originals to accommodate the use of modern radial tires.
If you are in the market for an excellent condition 1965 Buick Riviera in a unique color, this example will not disappoint. Thank you for looking!
