August 16 – Update – The Craigslist ad used for this post expired, so with no replacement found, we’re calling this one “Sold!”

While we like just about any custom mid-fifties Ford truck build, we really gravitate towards the street machines that completely stick with an all-Ford power train such as this 1956 F100 equipped with an ’82 Mustang 302 cubic inch V8 that was listed on Craigslist in Newton, New Jersey with an asking price of $24,000.  Using a stock 1956 example as a proxy,  Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms this private seller has his F-100 priced between the #2 “Excellent” appraisal of $34,600 and the #3 “Good” estimate of $18,300.

Here’s the seller’s description:

“This is a beautiful 1956 Ford F100 with a 1982 Mustang 302 Automatic under the hood. The truck has power steering and power brakes. The frame is straight and rust free. The windows are power windows and the doors do not have handles but instead “poppers” which open them electronically.
