Hemi Under Hood: 1984 Dodge Rampage Pro Street – SOLD!

July 14th Update:  while updating our recent Trucking Tuesday feature posts, we confirmed the listing we originally used to feature this awesome Hemi-powered UTE is no longer available.  With no new listing replacing it, we’re calling this Rampage “SOLD!”

Dodge offered its K-Car based Rampage compact pickup as a competitor to the Rabbit Caddy.  Front wheel drive and inline four powered from the factory, imagine our surprise when we cam across this award winning, Pro-Street, Hemi-powered version located in Pittston, Pennsylvania with an asking price of $24,900.  Value is in the eye of the buyer when it comes to one-off customs such as this Rampage and given the Hemi power plant, full tube chassis, and other details, we doubt you could come close to replicating this build without spending at least double the current ask. 

The private seller (and we assume build) reports that over 1,000 man hours when into this Prowler Flame Orange creation which required a full tubular frame to facilitate housing the 331 cubic inch Hemi V8 connected to a Torq-Flite 727 automatic transmission send twist to the tubbed rear axle.  We agree with the seller this is a one-of-a-kind build that will get you noticed everywhere you drive or show it.  Good luck with the purchase!
