Age Defying: 1961 Chevrolet C10 Suburban Project – SOLD!
Update – we confirmed the seller of this “Classifind” deleted their listing, so we’re now able to call this one “SOLD!” While this one got away, please reach out either by email or call Rudy directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.
Hidden in the woods of Englishtown, New Jersey originally listed on Craigslist during the summer of 2020 is what we believe to be a 1961 Chevrolet C10 Suburban project with an asking price of $7,000. The seller incorrectly listed this Suburban as a 1981 model, so you’ll need to confirm with him what vintage it truly is. Like it or not, Action Line Chevrolets continue to rise in value, so while that price may seem staggering for a non-running truck parked long ago in the woods, a check of the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms this private seller has his C10 priced $2,000 below the current #4 “Fair” estimate of $9,000. Additionally, researching the NADA Guides Classic Car Online Valuation Tool reveals the current “Low”, “Average”, and “High” retail value range of these fifth generation Suburbans to be $11,450, $26,000, and $52,300, respectively.
Good luck with the purchase!
