Slammed Shortbed: 1979 Chevrolet C10 – Sold?

Aug 2020 | Classifinds, Truckin Tuesday

October 19th Update: We just confirmed the Craigslist ad for this car expired and with no replacement listing found, we’re assuming this car sold.  This one may have got away, but if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330

If you love the look of the classic Chevy Square Body (ironically originally named the “Rounded Line” by Chevrolet when launched) pickup converted to an air-suspended street machine, but don’t have the time or skills to build one yourself then this may be the truck for you.  Posted in August 2020 on Craigslist in Valencia, Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) is this 1972 custom Chevrolet C10 street machine with only 2,500 miles on a fresh build completed this past spring. The private seller proudly states his custom C10 “would drive cross country with comfort and ease.”  Priced at a you-can’t-replicate-it-for-this price of $27,500, when compared against the stock values listed in the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool, the private seller has his Square Body priced between the #1 “Concours” appraisal of $33,100 and the #2 “Excellent” estimate of $21,800.

We really can’t add anything other than if your in-person inspection confirms this fresh build has been thoroughly sorted, we wish you good luck with the purchase!

Here’s the seller’s description:

“Nicely done C-10. Truck has 2500 miles on the build, was finished spring of this year. Powered by a fresh LS-1 with 853 heads, howards cam, LSX style intake w/36# injectors, Holley EFI,stainless headers and complete stainless exhaust.
