September 14th Update – Sometimes deals fall through for a variety of reasons. One week after seeing the original listing for this unique Chevy truck deleted by the private seller, we came across a fresh listing with the same asking price.
September 4th Update – while updating our Truckin’ Tuesday database, we confirmed the private seller of this unique Chevy C50 Snubnose deleted their Craigslist post, so we’re calling this one “Sold!”
You might be surprised to learn that some of the most popular trucks we’ve featured on to date on GuysWithRides for Truckin’ Tuesday have not been typical half-ton pickups. They continue to be the rare heavy-duty models that enthusiasts have heavily modified into custom pickups. Our latest example is this 1976 Chevrolet C50 Snub Nose truck here on Craiglist in North Reading, Massachusetts with a you-can’t-replicate-it-for-this asking price of $29,500.
In addition to the detailed description below, the private seller provides this walk-around video of their C50:
If you dare to be different and want or just need a heavier duty truck to cruise in, just remember this C50 is nothing but trouble. Good luck with the purchase!
Here’s the seller’s description:
“1976 Chevy C50 Snub Nose Pickup, 2wd, 44k original miles, blown (supercharged) 350 small black Chevy, power steering, 4spd manual transmission, dual rear wheels, AIR CONDITIONING, freshly built and fully sorted. This truck turns heads. It would be an awesome flagship rig for a landscaping company with its very useful DUMP BED. It has no rust and looks great with it’s classic Silverado paint scheme (with some Gothic surprises, ghosted in). Custom running boards, pinstriping, and many other unique touches that will make people talk about this very cool truck. It has a new windshield, the body panels are straight and rust-free. This truck built tight and right – must be seen and driven to be believed.
