Classifind Cut 11: 1983 Lincoln Continental Mark VI – SOLD!
October 26th Update: While updating our Malaise Monday database, we confirmed the private seller of this classic deleted their Craigslist ad, so we’re now able to call this one “Sold!” This one may have got away, but if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330.
Ford’s Lincoln Division introduced the downsized Continental Mark VI in 1980 and kept the model in production through 1983. The fifth generation of Lincoln’s Mark Series, the Mark VI was the first ground-up revision of the model line since 1972, and the first generation to undergo downsizing. This 27K original mile, two-owner survivor from the final year of production has just been listed recently on Craigslist in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania with an asking price of $10,000.
Here’s the seller’s description:
“Like New 1983 Lincoln Mark VI
27,000 original miles, 2 owners
New tires and shocks
New gas tank and fuel system
Tune-up completed as well
Must pick up, no delivery available”
