Classifind Cut 20: 1971 Plymouth Fury Police Car Replica – Sold?
January 7th, 2021 Update: We just confirmed the private seller of this ride deleted their Craigslist ad, so we’re now able to call this one “Sold!” While this one got away, if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330.
October 23rd Update – GwR Reader and Police Car aficionado Mike G. called it in the comments below on this one. One week after we featured this replica police car, the private seller now has a second ad listed at $9,500 while the original post we used now has the price at $12,500. The flaky ads combined with Mike calling out this car as a bad imposter has us recommending you pass this one and keep looking elsewhere.
Cop tires, Cop brakes, Cop suspension…carry out your very own mission from God with this 1971 Plymouth Fury Polic Car Replica originally listed in October 2020 on Craigslist on Staten Island, New York with what is very likely you-can’t-recreate-it-for-this-price of $10,000. This car looks like a lot of fun whether you decide to just cruise to car shows or drive it around town.

Give me a break. The guy also has the car listed on eBay and is constantly fluctuating the price from $9,500 to $35,000. This is what is referred to as a “clown car” in the classic Police car world. This IS NOT by any means a “package” car. There was not even an attempt to make it look like a package car other than putting “dog dish” hub caps on. It was originally a blue car that was painted white. Judging by the condition of the interior it looks to have been a car in good condition prior to it’s conversion to whatever it is supposed to be. Sad…
Michael, thank you for your expertise on this one – you just schooled us! Had we known, we would never have posted it!
