That’s the story provided in the listing for this 1987 FJ60 first posted in late October 2020 in Royersford, Pennsylvania with an asking price of $7,000. As robust as the original engine was in this FJ60 with this kind of mileage it was likely due for a rebuild and the engine swap was likely a much more economical alternative providing much better horsepower and torque, so no harm, no foul in our book.

Drivetrain: The Engine was Professionally replaced with a rebuilt GMC 350 cu. in. V8. In my opinion is a stronger and more powerful engine. 4-speed transmission with 4 wheel drive. Gear for off-roading and towing.
Current PA State Inspection and Emissions. In Good Condition & Runs Well.
