Classifind Cut 30: 1998 BMW E36 M3 5-Speed Convertible – SOLD!

Oct 2020 | Classifind Cut, Classifinds, Topless Thursday

November 10th Update: While updating our Topless Thursday database, we confirmed the private seller of this ’74 Chevy Nova deleted their Craigslist ad, so we’re now able to call this one “Sold!”  This one may have got away, but if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330.

If you have your heart set on owning an E36-vintage BMW M3 with its powerful inline-six engine, avoid any SMG-automatic-equipped cars and focus your efforts on getting a proper five-speed manual version such as this Estoril Blue over Gray Leather example listed recently on Craigslist in Portsmouth, New Hampshire with an asking price of $10,000.

Here’s the seller’s description:

“I have a 1998 m3 convertible with 136600 on it. Its a real m3 not a dumb clone. 5 speed. New clutch. I have folder 2 inch’s thick of dealer records. I just put a new $800 motor in for the top. Everything works as it should. I have Stock lights for it. Tirss all good. Car is very clean. Passes inspection no problem. No lights on in the dash. Car needs nothing. Don’t need to see but i have 4 vehicle figured I would try to sell one. 10000 obo. There hard to find in this condition these days.
