Classifind Cut 31: 1963 Buick Riviera Project Pair – SOLD!
November 12th Update: We just confirmed the private seller of this pair of Buick Riviera project cars deleted their Craigslist ad, so we’re now able to call these “Sold!” This pair got away, but if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330.
1963 was a milestone year for GM products from a styling standpoint for two reasons. First was Chevrolet’s new split-window Corvette Coupe while a close second was Buick’s first foray into the personal luxury car market with its stunning new Riviera. If you’ve always wanted to restore or perhaps do a custom build of a ’63 Riviera, this pair of examples just listed recently on Craigslist near Rutland, Vermont for only $3,800 might make a good starting point.
Here’s the seller’s description:
“Two complete 1963 Buick rivieras. Both with 401 Nailheads One seized the other runs, added a pointless ignition in that one. Both are auto transmissions. Both roll. Silver cloud was the original color. One has rally wheels and the other steels. Comes with one new set of floor pans. Make one and have plenty of parts to spare. No current registration. Sold with bill of sale only.”
