Sunbeam produced Alpine Series III and Series IV versions from 1963-1964 and 1964-1965, respectively in two versions. The ST models came equipped with a folding convertible top while the GTs featured only a removable hardtop.  A Series IV GT just listed recently near Baltimore, Maryland. What makes this example especially interesting is the conversion to a vintage Datsun 510 powerplant which is a very wise upgrade on several fronts.

Here’s the seller’s description:

“Very solid and nice driver 1965 Sunbeam Alpine GT with two hardtops ( the GT’s did not come with a conv. top) The engine has been upgraded to a Nissan 510 motor which provides more power than the original. The frame and floors are perfect, and the car is 99% rust free. hard to find one this nice to restore. Woodgrain dash (GT and Tiger only) and many other hard to find original parts still on the car.
