Classifind Cut 38: 1965 Chevrolet Custom Fleetside C20 – SOLD!
November 16th Update – We often witness a vehicle linger for sale when the seller sets a firm price. This was not one of those times as the seller deleted their post just two weeks after writing it. We can officially call this mid-sixties Chevy pickup “Sold!”
Chevrolet produced its first generation of C/K trucks from 1960 through 1966. As the popularity of these classic trucks continues to increase, finding a project such as this 1965 C20 3/4 Ton Fleetside listed in October 2020 on Craigslist in Geneseo, New York (Rochester) continues to become increasingly rare. Especially when it’s originally a California truck with an asking price of $5,500 firm.
Here’s the seller’s description:
“1965 Chevy pickup. 4 speed manual V8. READ THE AD!!!!!!!!!! I had it shipped here from California so it is rot free. It will run and move on it’s own power. Power disk brakes and all new front end parts installed. Brand new complete wiring harness 75% installed. Tons and tons of extras with most of the receipts. Lost interest in the project. Would make a great winter project. Winter storage or delivery can be negotiated before salt hits the road. I am willing to negotiate a little but I don’t need to sell it and I’m not hard up for cash so if I can’t get what I need I will just keep it. Ask questions, come look at it. Do not start the conversation with a low ball offer or what’s your bottom line.“
