Classifind Cut: 1960 Chrysler New Yorker Cross Ram – SOLD!

Nov 2020 | Classifind Cut, Classifinds, Free For All Friday

December 17th Update: We just confirmed the private seller of this stunning Chrysler deleted their Craigslist ad, so we’re now able to call this one “Sold!”  While this one got away, if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330.

While this stunning 1960 Chrysler New Yorker Four-Door Hardtop may not feature the popular “Toilet Seat” faux spare tire trunk mounted trim, it more than makes up for it by having its 413 cubic inch V8 topped with an extremely rare Cross Ram Dual quad intake manifold.  This is Virgil Exner’s “Forward Look” styling at its finest, even if we suspect the color does not match any original 1960 factory hue.

This driver quality example originally listed in November 2020 on Craigslist in Manchester, New Hamshire has an asking price of $14,999. Researching the Collector Car Market Review Online Tool reveals the private seller has their New Yorker priced between this guide’s #3 “Good” estimate of $12,400 and its #2 “Very Good” appraisal of $19,700.  As a second data point, the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms this private seller has their full-sized Chrysler priced between the #4 “Fair” (Daily Driver) appraisal of $11,000 and the #3 “Good” estimate of $18,400.

Here’s the seller’s description:
