Low-mileage, driver-quality, 1980s vintage station wagons remain relatively easy to find, at least for now.  One of the more common models we come across regularly are Oldsmobile Custom Cruisers such as this 1988 example with only 70K original miles originally listed in November 2020 on Craigslist by the caretaker of the past twenty years in Carlisle, Pennsylvania with an asking price of $2,995 or best offer.

“Classic 1988 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser with less than 70k actual miles on it.

Just inspected: in great running condition. Almost new tires, belts and hoses.

There are of course a few cosmetic flaws, as you would expect with a car of this age.

Power seats and windows working well.

Engine is the 5.0L V8 4BBL. I had a new carburetor installed about a year ago.

I bought this car in 2001 with 050616 miles on it. I think I’m only the second owner. So I’ve only put about 20,000 miles on it in twenty years. I’ve maintained it well and used it mostly to move things locally. It’s amazing how much cargo space there is.

You can fit a full (4×8) sheet of plywood in the back. And, yes, it does have the third seat in the rear.
