Classifind Cut: 1967 Dodge Charger – Sold?

Nov 2020 | Classifind Cut, Classifinds, Free For All Friday

January 7th, 2021 Update – We just confirmed the Craigslist ad for this ride expired.  With no replacement listing found, we’re assuming this car sold.  This one may have got away, but if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330.

The original Dodge Charger fastback launched in 1966 and lasted only two model years before being replaced by the stunning second-generation model.  While enthusiasts remember these first-gen cars for their unique four-place open cockpit and innovative fastback styling, less known is the very cool looking Electoluminescent dashboard lighting.  With only 67,000 original miles, this 1967 example originally listed in November 2020 on Craigslist in Richmond, Virginia comes with that feature as well the 383 cubic inch V8 and a nicely integrated air conditioning.  The Collector Car Market Review Online Tool confirms the private seller’s asking price falls between this guide’s current #1 “Excellent” appraisal of $31,000 and #2 “Very Good” estimate of $19,300.

Here’s the seller’s description:

“Nice original car. 383 V-8 engine, AT, new paint, new tires, new radiator, new A/C. Only 67k miles (believed to be actual mileage). Runs and drives great! Asking $24.5k OBO”

Factory or aftermarket:  what is the air conditioning system in this Dodge Charger?  Comment below and let us know!

We walked into Reedman Motors in 1967 and my Mom fell in love with a burgundy 67 Dodge Charger. I seem to recall it having bucket seats and a console so it wasn’t practical for us as we were a family of 6. My Mom spoke about that car up to her final days.
