Classifind Cut: 1968 Dodge A100 Pickup – SOLD!

December 1st Update – The seller deleted both posts of this and their other forward-control vintage truck. While we’re calling these “Sold!” we will keep an eye out for new listings as this seller has relisted these trucks in the past.

Back in April of this year, long times readers may recall we featured the other of the pair of mid-sixties forward-control pickups the same private placed on the market: this red 1965 Ford E-100 pickup originally listed for $22,000.  At the time we felt that while both trucks seemed optimistically priced, the market for forward-control pickups was heating up, so we were interested in watching where these both landed.

Fast forward to now and we discovered last night the private seller never found a buyer last spring for either truck and now their Ford and this 1968 Dodge A-100 listed again in November 2020 on Craigslist in Huntington, New York (Long Island) $15,000.  While the red Ford’s asking price now appears to be market correct, when researching the same price for this Dodge, the Collector Car Market Review Online Tool surprisingly shows that to be a bit too optimistic as it’s nearly double this guide’s current #1 “Excellent” appraisal of only $6,725. Unfortunately, Hagerty Insurance currently does not provide estimates on these trucks, so when we checked Classic.com, the search engine and analytics platform for the classic car market, their data confirm this A-100 appears to be priced appropriately:
