Condition Correct: 1973 Chevrolet Corvette L82/Auto Coupe – SOLD!

Dec 2020 | Classifinds, Sports Car Saturday

January 30, 2021 Update – we just confirmed the seller of this “Classifind” deleted their listing, so we’re now able to call this one “SOLD!” While this one got away, please reach out either by email or call Rudy directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.

Not every C3 Corvette has lived a life of extremely low-mileage, garage queen status since new.  While 127,205 on a C3 may be a lot of miles in some enthusiasts’ minds, that averages out to less than three thousand annually, which seems like reasonable fair-weather-only driving after 47 years. That combined with 1973 styling and Bryer blue has us liking this driver quality C3 originally spotted in December 2020 on Craigslist in Dameron, Delaware with an asking price of $15,000.Researching the Collector Car Market Review Online Tool reveals the private seller has Corvette priced between this guide’s #4 “Fair” estimate of $11,250 and its #3 “Good” appraisal of $18,300.  Similarly, the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool as a second data point confirms this private seller has their C3 priced between the #4 “Fair” estimate of $10,900 and the #3 “Good” appraisal of $14,600.

While some may not like the automatic, this example features power steering and the more desirable 250 horsepower L82 350 V8. Not mentioned, though present, is a factory air conditioning compressor, so we wonder whether the system is currently not working.  We also like how the dashboard still has its original factory AM/FM radio in place.  There appears to be a lot here to like about this Corvette for the price.

Here’s the seller’s description:
