Classifind Cut: 1966 Chevrolet C10 Street Machine – SOLD!
December 14th Update – Apparently, we weren’t the only ones who felt this C10 was a great truck at a you-can’t-replicate-it-for-this-price as the private seller already deleted their Craigslist ad. Consequently, we’re calling this street machine “Sold!” While this one got away, if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330.
There’s just something about the proportions of the first-generation Chevrolet C10 short-bed Fleetside pickup that make it a great street machine candidate. Our latest example is this 1966 C10 originally listed in December 2020 on Craigslist in Bedford, Indiana with an asking price of $27,000. The Collector Car Market Review Online Tool confirms the ask falls just under well this guide’s current #1 “Excellent” appraisal of $28,850.
Here’s the seller’s description:
“Truck has been freshly done this year, 350 engine and trans, power steering, power disc brakes up front, new paint, interior, wheels and tires, nice wood floor in the bed, good straight body, slick paint, new bumpers, new aftermarket dash cluster, nice stereo, new grill, Halo headlights, nicely detailed under the hood, Big aluminum radiator. Truck runs and drives as it should, might trade for other pre-72 cars or trucks, no bikes or boats.”
