Classifind Cut: 1956 Buick Century – SOLD!
December 13th Update – Just days after we featured this survivor quality mid-fifties Buick, the seller decided to drop the price by $1,500 from $21,000 to $19,500. We have a feeling that now that the caretaker of the past twelve years decided to let this Buick go, they now want it gone quickly.
Portholes, Sweepspears, and four-door pillarless hardtop styling all come together to form this mid-century modern masterpiece known otherwise as the 1956 Buick Century. The survivor example was last listed in December 2020 on Craigslist in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts, with extensive original documentation an asking price of $21,000. The Collector Car Market Review Online Tool confirms the ask falls between this guide’s current #2 “Very Good” estimate of $20,800 and its #1 “Excellent” appraisal of $31,875.
