Classifind Cut: 1987 BMW E30 325iC 5-speed – Sold?

Dec 2020 | Classifind Cut, Classifinds, Topless Thursday

January 12th Update – we just noticed the listing “Classifind” expired, so with no replacement found we’re assuming this ride “Sold?” We’re sorry that this one got away, so feel free to reach out either by email or call Rudy directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.

Unmolested BMW E30 5-speed-equipped 325i convertibles for sale by the original owner are quickly becoming a rare event.  Consequently, when we saw this white-over-cream, well-maintained, 1987 example posted in December 2020 on Craigslist in Bayport, New York (Long Island) with original documentation and an asking price of $14,500, we knew we had to get the word out as this likely won’t last long.  The Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms the ask falls between this guide’s current #3 “Good” estimate of $12,700 and its #2 “Excellent” appraisal of $21,400.

Here’s the seller’s description:

“This 1987 325i convertible is a one owner car always garage kept and meticulously maintained with documented original miles.
Have all the maintenance records and the original window sticker and original bill.
Car has brand new shocks all around struts , alternator, battery, brand new tires brakes rotors drives absolutely like new. Has no accidents all the original vin stickers are on all body parts.
Absolutely no rust or rot on the car.
The only 2 flaws to make it perfectly perfect are
1 ) small patch on the top
2) front seat tears
Other than that looks and drives like brand new must see and drive to appreciate. “
