Classifind Cut: 1962 Ford Ranchero – Sold?

Dec 2020 | Classifind Cut, Classifinds, Truckin Tuesday

January 4th, 2021 Update – We just confirmed the Craigslist ad for this ride expired, and with no replacement listing found, we’re assuming this car sold.  This one may have got away, but if you have your heart set on something similar, email us the details of what you’re looking for or call Rudy directly at (908)295-7330.

We love classic “UTEs”: classic half-car, half-pickup vehicles. We love coming across project UTEs such as this 1962 Ford Falcon Ranchero project originally listed in December 2020 on Craigslist in Berwick, Pennsylvania with an asking price of $8,500. This example appears to be solid and straight enough that the toughest decision the next caretaker need to make is whether to restore it or turn it into a restomod.  The Collector Car Market Review Online Tool confirms the ask currently falls between this guide’s current #3 “Good” estimate of $6,600 and its #2 “Very Good” appraisal of $11,450.

Here’s the seller’s description:

“1962 FORD RANCHERO

*new fuel tank
*new rims and tires (NOT IN THE PICTURE)
*new 8 inch rear

Restore or restomod: what would you do with this Ranchero?  Comment below and let us know!
