Classifind Cut: 1984 GMC C2500 – SOLD!
January 12th Update – we just confirmed the seller of this “Classifind” deleted their listing, so we’re now able to call this one “SOLD!” We’re sorry this one got away, so feel free to reach out either by email or call Rudy directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.
GM produced the third generation “Rounded Line” C/K pickup trucks for eighteen years between 1973 and 1991. Ironically, this generation of trucks is better known by enthusiasts as “Square Bodies.” As this generation approached the end of their production run, you could still find many examples that harken back to their bare-bones, utility-first roots. Our latest example is this 1984 GMC Sierra C2500 long bed stepside originally listed in January 2021 on Craigslist in Norwalk, Connecticut. Said to have only 46K original miles and no other details provided, the private seller currently has their square body listed for $5,000 The Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms that ask falls right between this guide’s current #4 “Fair” (Daily Driver) estimate of $3,200 and its #3 “Good” appraisal of $9,700. From the limited pictures provided, it appears you’ll have to deal with the typical door and rocker panel rust these trucks are famous for. Unfortunately, no details about either the engine or the interior are currently provided, so you’ll have to interview the seller to find out more. When you connect, please remember to mention you saw their Sierra featured here on GuysWithRides.com. Good luck with the purchase!
Here’s the seller’s description:
“1984 GMC Sierra 2500. Only 46K miles. Full-size bed. All ready for you to restore to its 1980’s glory.”
