Classifind Cut: 1986 Chevrolet Astro V8 Street Machine – SOLD!

This Jasper small-block Chevy-powered 1986 Astro Van originally listed in March 2021 on Craigslist in Finksburg, Maryland (Baltimore) has us asking more questions than the answers the listing provides. The asking price of $5,500 is well above the NADA Guides Online Valuation Tool’s “High” retail estimate of only $1,350, but the premium here is for the V8 conversion and disconnected nitrous oxide system included as part of the sale.

Based on the limited pictures, this Astro appears to have potential. We love how the seller took pictures with the engine running to show off the dual exhaust peeking from what appears to be a rolled rear pan replacing the factory rear bumper.

“Modified Astro van. Short wheelbase with a 97 front clip.Jasper high-performance 350ci./330 hp P/S,PB/A/C. Comes with the Nitros set up but I disconnected it for the sale.”
