One Year Gone: 1967 MG Midget Race Car – Sold?
June 12, 2021 Update – while this “Classifind” expired recently, given the seller’s past history we suspect may not actually be sold yet. For now, we’re labeling this ride “Sold?” However, we will keep an eye out for an updated listing. In the interim, please reach out either by email or call Rudy directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.

March 28, 2021 – While preparing our latest Sports Car Saturday features, we remembered this ’67 MG Midget originally posted one year ago. Our hunch is that with everything locked down this time last year, the current caretaker realized the time simply wasn’t right for trying to sell a track toy. Fast forward one year and with things starting to open up the seller has the same $12,500 asking price and year-old pictures in their latest listing.
May 16, 2020 Update – We just confirmed the listing for this MG race car “Classifind” expired, so with no replacement found we’re assuming this ride “Sold?”
If social distancing has finally motivated you to take up vintage sports car racing once all of the restrictions get lifted, then this 1967 MG Midget racing car currently listed one year later on Craigslist in Long Valley, New Jersey might be a great way to start. We have no way of putting a value on a ready-to-race car such as this MG. So, we think you’ll agree given the equipment and modifications already completed on this car combined with a documented racing history dating back to the 70’s you’d be hard-pressed to recreate your own for the asking price. That said, we’ve seen this car re-listed several times over the past few months so a reasonable counter offer with cash in hand will likely go far with the seller.
