Three Door: 1972 Chevrolet Suburban – SOLD!
May 26, 2021 Update – we confirmed the seller of this Suburban “Classifind” deleted their listing, so we’re now able to call this one “SOLD!” While this one got away, please reach out either by email or call Rudy directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.
Chevrolet’s “Suburban” brand name is the longest-running automotive nameplate in the world, which in 2021 will celebrate its 86th continuous production year since its introduction in 1935. It’s the first and only vehicle brand to achieve that feat. One of the more popular versions is the three-door Action Line truck-based models produced between 1969 through 1972. We spotted this driver-quality and well-maintained example in May 2021 on Craigslist in St. Petersburg, Florida that not only features third-row seating but also the very desirable rear air conditioning unit designed to keep everyone cool in the back. Offered at $22,900 currently, comparing that price against the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms the private seller has their Suburban priced between this guide’s #3 “Good” estimate of $14,200 and its #2 “Excellent” appraisal of $29,600. Interestingly, the Collector Car Market Review Online Tool provides a slightly different assessment as in this case the asking price is nearly three thousand dollars above this guide’s #1 “Excellent” appraisal of $20,000.
Here’s the seller’s description:
