October 23, 2021 Update – The private seller just found a buyer for their C6 Corvette just found a buyer locally for their car, so we’re now able to call this one sold!

May 9, 2021 Update – The current caretaker of this tastefully upgraded C7 Corvette, John, just lowered his asking price from $30,499 to $29,500.

Guys With Rides is pleased to present this gorgeous White 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 3LT six-speed manual the second owner John is currently offering for $29,500.  Using the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool as a guide shows this tastefully optioned late-model Corvette is currently priced appropriately halfway between the #1 “Concours” level of $31,800 and the #2 “Excellent” estimate of $26,900.  After spending an enjoyable afternoon photographing John’s Corvette, I drove away impressed with his attention to detail in keeping his Corvette clean as well as the tasteful, yet subtle modifications you’ll find throughout his car.  Despite John being the second owner, he has all of the paperwork and service history of the car since new.

While the most notable factory option in this 3LT-packaged C6 Corvette Coupe is the very desirable Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension, John took things up a notch in the interior.  Using a combination of NAPA leather sourced from Austria,  authentic Italian Alacantara, and better quality high-density foam, John’s upholsterer redid the factory seats and armrest with these materials and even added a distinctive red diamond pattern stitching in the seat inserts reminiscent of late-model Bentleys that tastefully yet subtly improves the interior of this Corvette.  Not only is it comfortable but you will be the envy of every other C6 owner in your Corvette club when they see this interior.

Other interior upgrades include Lloyd floor mats embossed with the Corvette logo, Sullivan Racing aluminum pedals finished in black, a BlendMount Radar Mounting system, and an aftermarket Kenwood DDX790 head unit equipped with a touch screen and functioning back up camera.

On the exterior, John equipped his White Corvette with a Clear Bra on the car’s nose, the front half of the hood, the fenders, fog lights, and mirrors.  Other exterior protection includes APSIS splash guards which are barely noticeable yet do an admirable job of keeping CLAG off the sides of this white ‘Vette.  Another subtle touch is the like-new Corvette Cup Style wheels secured by Gorilla lug nuts locks.  John notes that the factory original wheels are included with the sale.

More upgrades under the hood of John’s Corvette include a Haltech Super Bee 10 cold air system feeding air into the LS3 engine.  Scavenging the spent gases are a set of PFADT Headers dumping into high flow catalytic converters and a mid-pipe, all of which received an application of Jet-Hot Extreme 1300 Ceramic Coating. At the tailpipe, John installed a Mild-to-Wild, remote-controlled exhaust solenoid baffle system. The following video provides a quick demonstration of the system and sound in both modes:
Following the installation of the engine components, John had his Corvette retuned at East Coast superchargers.  Here is a copy of the results at their facility:

To improve the stopping power of his Corvette, John installed Carbotech brake pads and StopTech stainless steel brake lines.  To improve the look of the calipers behind the Cup wheels, John powder coated them red while leaving the “Corvette” script metal-colored.

Finally, to aid in handling, John added an Elite Tunnel plate which increased torsional rigidity over the stock unit and out back is a very tasteful SuperVettes Extreme Rear spoiler in Artic White that is just right in size for the rear deck.

Overall, this is a nicely upgraded, yet finely maintained C6 Corvette you can enjoy in comfort.  Upon request, John can provide a complete list of all of the modifications made to this Corvette we may have not covered in this If you are serious about purchasing this Corvette, you can contact Rudy directly at (908) 295-7330.  Thank you for looking!
