July 13, 2021 Update – we confirmed the seller of this “Classifind” deleted their listing, so we’re now able to call this one “SOLD!” While this one got away, please reach out either by email or call us directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.

We can’t think of many other classic cars that would be more iconic sitting in your driveway than a ’57 Chevy. For many years most enthusiasts desired choice of ’57 Chevy was either the convertible, the two-door hardtop, or the rare two-door Nomad.  We’re pleased to see a renewed interest in the more pedestrian four-door wagon models such as this copper-and-white Bel Air trimmed six-passenger example originally listed in June 2021 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Featuring updated power brakes and air conditioning, the seller of this driver-quality example is currently asking $32,000. Comparing that price against the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms the private seller has their ’57 priced between this guide’s #2 “Excellent” estimate of $26,500 and its #1 “Concours” appraisal of $39,200.  Similarly, the Collector Car Market Review Online Tool reveals the seller’s ask falls between this guide’s #2 “Very Good” estimate of $29,675 and its #1 “Concours” appraisal of $45,125.

Here’s a vintage one-minute commercial from 1957 highlighting the practicality of Chevrolet’s 1957 wagon lineup:

The virtually perfect interior on this car is offset by the faded hood and front fender paint however, the light patina will not turn off many people these days.

Here’s the seller’s description:

“Nice 1957 Chevrolet wagon with immaculate interior and paint is a 7 out 10. 283 and power glide trans. Ac is good new wheels and tires 704-902-025five
