BMW launched the fourth generation of its mid-size 5 Series, known internally as the E39, in 1995. The E39 series marked the first significant use of aluminum in the front suspension components. Every version save for the Estate (wagon) received rack-and-pinion steering.  Many consider BMW’s E39 the last good-looking 5-Series before Chris Bangle’s horrid “Flame Surfacing” arrived on the scene for 2003, so the 2002 530i featured here is the final year of that beloved design.

The current caretaker has owned this 530i for the past eight years. A BMW Enthusiast and past owner of several examples of the marque loves his 530i, however, a glut of cars in his driveway means one of them has to go so his loss is your gain.

The seller (and third owner) performed all required maintenance over the past eight years as well as the following tasteful upgrades: Bilstein Performance Sport Plus Suspension package (made in Germany); a Cold Air Intake and ECU tune professionally completed by Turner Motorsports of Amesbury, Massachusetts; Cup Holders; HID Headlights; and a modern DYNAVIN Navigation GPS/DVD/Bluetooth/Audio system.

The seller provides a complimentary Experian AutoCheck that confirms the number of owners as well as the fact this 530i is accident free with a clean title.
