After a near-stock LT1-equipped Corvette Convertible paced the Indy 500 in 1995, the third time Corvette had ever been bestowed with this honor, Chevrolet decided to commemorate the occasion by producing a specially optioned Pace Car Replica. Option RPO Z4Z was offered to consumers at an extra cost of $2,816 and was limited to convertibles.
The upgrades to the car included Dark Purple Metallic paint layered over Arctic White paint. The car featured an all-white convertible top, specially embroidered headrests, and unique graphics and trim. Additionally, the special edition “A-mold” tires introduced on the ZR-1 in 1990 were utilized on this special edition Corvette as well. In all, Chevrolet built 527 Pace Car Replicas, with 87 shipped to the Indy 500, 20 shipped overseas, and the remaining 415 being distributed to Chevrolet’s top-performing dealers across the United States.
This example currently has just under 1,500 original miles. The current caretaker purchased this 1995 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car Replica from the original owner in 2010 when the car had less than one hundred miles. The miles added since that time averages less than 150 annually.

On 95 vette will 12k buy it? Tnx Mike 847 358-7240
Hi Mike. Sorry, $12K will not buy the Corvette. The seller’s reserve was $23,000 for this 1,455 mile C4, so by clicking the “Buy Now or Make an Offer” you can either agree to pay the seller’s reserve or make a much higher offer via a registered counter-bid. Thanks!
Can the owner be reached on my offer on the vette. Also have a few questions for the owners too, is there a way to contact the owner?
Hi Ryan, thank you for making a serious offer on this Corvette. We’re glad Rudy was able to get you and the seller to come to agreement so easily.
