October 25, 2021 Update – We just confirmed the listing for this “Classifind” expired, so with no replacement found we’re assuming this ride “Sold?” While this one got away, please reach out either by email or call us directly if you’d like to be informed when we come across something similar.

September 24, 2021 – After a brief pause with no listing following the last ad’s expiration, we came across a fresh Craigslist post for this C10 Silverado we started following in June.  In their latest listing, the seller continues to ask $17,500.

September 13, 2021 Update – While the listing for the truck expired, a dear friend fell in love with this truck and tried to negotiate to buy his truck, however negotiations fell through. For now, we’re assuming this Square body Sold until we come across a fresh listing.

August 11, 2021 Update – With the original listing expiring after one month, we came across a fresh listing for this nicely optioned C10 Silverado square body that remains set at the $17,500 ask set one week earlier.

August 4, 2021 Update – By lowering the price by another one large down to $17,500, the private seller of this Square Body Silverado is signaling they are willing to negotiate a deal.

August 2, 2021 Update – Not only did the private seller lower their price a second time to $18,500 but they also added a number of better pictures out in a field that really shows how nice this truck is.

July 17, 2021 Update – Making this short bed Square Body C10 even more enticing is the fact the seller just lowered their asking price to $19,995 from the original ask of $21,500.

Chevrolet’s third generation of C/K trucks, known these days as the company’s “Square Body” truck, are one of the hottest classics you can buy right now. Prices for these vary widely depending on equipment. At the top of the pile are Silverado-Trimmed, short-bed C10s such as this Nordic Blue and Siler two-tone beauty we first spotted in July 2021 on Craigslist in Sanborn, New York (Buffalo) that appears to be a properly restored example now offered at $17,500 currently ($21,500 was the original ask). Comparing that price against the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms the private seller has their Silverado priced between this guide’s #2 “Excellent” estimate of $17,100 and its #1 “Concours” appraisal of $29,000.

While enthusiasts today call this generation of Chevy Trucks Square Bodies, back in the day the C/K line of trucks was known internally as the “Rounded Line” because the trucks were designed with a number of advanced aerodynamic features to help improve fuel economy.  With a newer paint job on a reported rust-free Arkansas truck, based on both the pictures and detailed description, there is a lot to like about this nicely equipped C10 that makes a less expensive and candidly better-looking alternative to what Chevrolet is pitching these days.

Here’s the seller’s description:

“Excellent example of a short bed squarebody pickup. Awesome looks, a definite head-turner, featuring the Silverado options package! Super solid Southern truck out of Arkansas that practically qualifies as a survivor vehicle. Absolutely no rust anywhere – amazing.
